Cameron Hall is a 5,800-seat multi-purpose arena in Lexington, Virginia. It was built in 1981, and has gone several renovations since, and is primarily home to VMI Keydets basketball.

HistoryEdit

Cameron Hall was built in 1981, but was nothing back then to what it is today. In 1995, new walls, portals, railings, basket supports, locker rooms, and carpeting were installed.

Later in 2007, in thanks to the donations from Ralph Costen, a VMI graduate in 1970, Costen Court was installed to be the new floor for Cameron, replacing a nearly decade old floor.

FeaturesEdit

As noted before, VMI went under a huge renovation process in the summer of 1995. A new color scheme with fresh paint was added to the floor, along with walls, portals, baskets, and more. The Costen Court renovation made Cameron Hall what it is today. In 1999-2000, the VMI Basketball "Wall of Fame" was installed on the mezzanine level in Cameron. This is dedicated to the basketball players inducted into the VMI Sports Hall of Fame.
